Everything you need to know about camp!

Check-In Process

We will have a modified Sunday Check in this summer in order to bring our Leadership Development campers in with their group.  This is meeting with the State/CDC guidelines. Our Check in times will be assigned and it is very important to arrive on time with your camper but NOT EARLY.  If you arrive early you will be asked to wait until it is your campers assigned time for check in.  We are keeping a veil over NLR in limiting access to camp by not having parents going to cabins and walking around campus this summer.  This is an effort to keep camp clean and safe for your campers.  We appreciate your patience and understanding in our process for check in this summer.

Nehi Campers 
  • Odd week Nehi's will be at Frontier Cove and will Check in on Sunday at 3:30pm and depart two weeks later on Saturday at 8:30 am
  • Even week Nehi's will be at Flint Valley and will Check in on Sunday at 2pm and depart two weeks later on Saturday at 8:30 am
Timothy Team Campers

All Timothy Team Camper will check in at Flint Valley and will Check in on Sundays at 2:00 pm and Depart 2 weeks later on Saturday at 8:30

After you check-in your Nehemiah Team camper or Tim Team camper we will ask you to leave and come back if you have a Summer Camp camper to check in.  We know this is not ideal but again we are trying to meet all State/CDC guidelines in order to keep your campers safe during check in.

PLEASE MAKE SURE WHOEVER IS GOING TO BE PICKING UP YOUR CAMPER IS ON THE AUTHORIZED PICK LIST THAT YOU COMPLETED DURING REGISTRATION.  WE WANT YOUR CAMPER GOING HOME WITH THE CORRECT PERSON!

These are the stations you will move through to get your camper checked into camp this summer:

Gate House Greeting - Given FAQ Card

Station #1 - Health Pre screen/Check in sheet given to camper (check in sheet will have your campers cabin/counselor listed)

Stations #2 - Medicine drop off (You will speak to the Nurse/Doctor on campus and they will go over medication list with you) Please send medications in original container labeled in a large baggie for transport). No over the counter medications/supplements will be accepted without a Doctor's note. 

Station #3 - Camper/Luggage drop off.  You can get out and Hug your campers good bye, meet their counselor and encourage them to have a GREAT week at NLR! Packing light this summer is a must! All items must be in luggage and bedding should be in a bag.  All luggage needs to be LABELED BOLDLY ON ALL LUGGAGE/BAGS.  Have your camper look at their luggage and know what to claim at the cabin complex when the staff brings their luggage to them after it has been sanitized. We are depending on you to help us so we can help your camper in this area! We will have a public restroom that is away from campers at this station but are wanting to limit the use of it.  Please if you can take care of this issue before you get to camp. 

Station #4 - Have a last minute question? We will be happy to answer last minute questions for you as you leave camp
