The Leadership Winter Refresh at Flint Valley is for the 2022 Nehemiah and Timothy Teams.

If you just participated in Nehemiah Team or Timothy Team (regardless which site) this past summer, then this retreat is for you!

$120 covers food, lodging, and a shirt for the weekend. Bring extra cash if you would like anything from the canteen.

The weekend is going to be pretty flexible since we want to spend the majority of the time reconnecting and in worship, but we will have some fun activities prepared for the weekend:

Friday
7:30 – Arrival
8:00 – Orientation and Chapel
9:30 – Evening Activity

Saturday
8:30 – Breakfast
9:00 – Serve!
12:00 – Lunch
1:00 – Free Time
5:30 – Dinner
7:00 – Chapel
8:30 – Evening Activity

Sunday
8:30 – Breakfast
9:30 – Closing Chapel
10:30 – Departure

Packing List

  • WARM Clothes- We will be spending a large portion of our time outside and participating in a service project on camp grounds so bring warm clothes that are also appropriate for getting dirty. 
    • Warm pants, jeans, sweatpants, etc.
    • Jackets, hoodies, coats, sweatshirts, etc.
    • Warm socks, gloves, hats, scarves, etc. 
    • Tennis Shoes, boots, etc. NO CHACOS and/or OPEN TOED SHOES!!!!
  • Jacket/Rain Jacket- for cool nights and rainy days.
  • Bedding- All campers need a pillow, sheets and blanket, or sleeping bag for a twin bed.
  • Towels and washcloths
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Closed-toe/tennis shoes- bring multiple pairs in case it rains!
  • Flashlight
  • Peanut-free snacks
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Prescription medications- all meds must be turned in to the camp nurse at check-in. Meds must be in their original packaging. Hiding medications of any kind in ones belongings is a viloation of camper safety and the camper code of conduct
  • Bible, notebook, and pen.

Don’t Bring This Stuff

Pets, cash, tobacco in any form, alcoholic beverages, drugs (including non-prescription), lighters, matches, weapons, fireworks, radios, mp3 or CD players, electronic game systems, cell phones, pagers, roller blades, skateboards, video games, magazines, or sexually explicit literature or items or any kind.
