We have nearly 20 miles of trails across both our sites, and we can always use help keeping them maintained! Count on hard physical work that includes digging, raking, and clearing branches. Individuals and groups are welcome to lend a hand!
Each December we run our Fint & Steel Trail Run to raise money for our Mission 19:14 Camper Scholarship Fund. Not only will this race require runners (obviously) but also lots of volunteers to make it run smoothly (sorry, bad pun).
There is always work to do around camp, and we are always looking for volunteers! Whether you want to come out for a day or a month, we have a way for you to serve. Here are a list of on-going projects that we are always looking for help with:
Mentoring
Office Work
Carpentry
Mowing
Trail Clearing
Housekeeping
Data Entry
Target Sports Instructor
Logging/Wood Chopping
Maintenance
Firewood
We burn lots of wood around here and we are always needing people to help split, haul and stack firewood. We have many trees with have died due to a regional disease. Falling these trees keep our trails safe and fuels memory making opportunities around our fire pits. To find out more about getting involved, email our Volunteer Coordinator, Sam Moreton.
