Hearts & Hooves at Flint Valley

7th-12th Grade Girls

Hearts & Hooves is a horse camp specifically for more advanced riders, and it's for girls only! Riders will enjoy learning to improve their horsemanship and leadership skills. Our qualified wranglers will provide individual training based on the campers skill level. Campers will also have time to focus on their relationship with Jesus through intentional Horses, God, and Me bible studies.

Horses and Jesus Y’all!

Anyone can sit on a horse, but building a relationship of trust and experiencing true horsemanship takes time and commitment.  Our goal is to build Christ-like leaders through building trust and skill between the riders and their horse.  

Some of the questions we will explore with our horses are-What does following look like?  What do we need to do to have our horses follow us and how much more is God to us that we should follow Him.

Open to all skill levels, riders will be matched with a horse that compliments their skill level and our qualified instructors will help them increase in horsemanship and leadership skills.

The Mane Event at Flint Valley

Girls Grades 7-12

AGES: Girls Grades 7-12

RIDING LEVEL: Skilled

PREREQUISITE: Attendees must posses the riding level necessary for this event and have participated in a Hearts & Hooves or a Horsin’ Around event at New Life Ranch previously. Skilled riders who have not attended an NLR event previously and want to know more about the skill level required for this event can contact Angie Davis (angie@newliferanch.com), the Horsemanship Coordinator.

FOCUS: Advanced riding skills, trail rides, and seeing how wonderful God made the horse and you!

SCHEDULE: Friday @ 7PM to Sunday @ 2PM

Horsin' Around at Flint Valley

Horsin’ Around is our most popular horse camp, and is for riders of all skill levels. Our qualified instructors will help campers increase in horsemanship and Christlike leadership skills.

AGES: Grades 3-12

RIDING LEVEL: Beginner-Advanced

PREREQUISITE: None

FOCUS: Improving horsemanship skills, grooming, leading, positioning, games, trail rides.

SCHEDULE: Friday @ 7PM – Sunday @ 2PM

Saddle Up! Parent & Child Edition at Frontier Cove

For Parents & Kids (3rd-12th grade)

Saddle Up for a weekend of riding at Frontier Cove! Whether you want to learn new skills or refresh the skills you have, we will work on improving communication between the horse and rider, parents and children! Whether in the covered arena and riding rings in the barn, or out on the beautiful trails of our 1000 acres, there is always a lot to learn about ourselves, our kids, and the horses we love!

A horse, all necessary equipment, lodging, and meals are all included.

This Horse Camp is for parents of any age and kids 3rd-12th grade.
