At New Life Ranch, our Horse Camps are so much more than just riding (although we do plenty of that too!) Our camps are designed to help kids understand what it means to have trust with their horses, their peers, and God. Whether you camper is an advanced rider, or wants to try something new, our qualified staff are here to make sure they have a great time riding!

Hearts & Hooves is a horse camp specifically for more advanced riders, and it's for girls only! Riders will enjoy learning to improve their horsemanship and leadership skills. Our qualified wranglers will provide individual training based on the campers skill level. Campers will also have time to focus on their relationship with Jesus through intentional Horses, God, and Me bible studies.

Anyone can sit on a horse, but building a relationship of trust and experiencing true horsemanship takes time and commitment. Our goal is to build Christ-like leaders through building trust and skill between the riders and their horse.
Some of the questions we will explore with our horses are-What does following look like? What do we need to do to have our horses follow us and how much more is God to us that we should follow Him.
Open to all skill levels, riders will be matched with a horse that compliments their skill level and our qualified instructors will help them increase in horsemanship and leadership skills.

PREREQUISITE: Attendees must posses the riding level necessary for this event and have participated in a Hearts & Hooves or a Horsin’ Around event at New Life Ranch previously. Skilled riders who have not attended an NLR event previously and want to know more about the skill level required for this event can contact Angie Davis (angie@newliferanch.com), the Horsemanship Coordinator.
FOCUS: Advanced riding skills, trail rides, and seeing how wonderful God made the horse and you!
