At New Life Ranch Flint Valley, senior campers (7th-12th grade) get to do things like ride horses, canoe, rock climb, launch off the blob, and worship God, all while building relationships with peers, counselors, and ultimately Jesus Christ.
These activity classes are included as part of your camp fee and are chosen as campers arrive.
Gym & Field
Arts & Crafts
These activity classes must be signed up for in advance of your camper arriving. Due to specialized equipment, these activity classes have an extra charge to participate.
Campers will also be given the opportunity to sign up for several of these as a free time activity. Those activities range from $5-$10 and will come out of their canteen.

Hub & Spoke
It’s an aerial adventure! Spend the week trekking each element of the new Hub&Spoke ropes course. Traverse elements. Challenge your limits.
Fly high through the sky on our zipline, soar through the air at breath-taking speed on the Screamer, push yourself to the limit on the Pamper Pole, and work with a team to overcome the Vertical Playpen, Jacob’s Ladder, and the High-Y! Closed-toe shoes are required to participate.
Hit the trails on our 1000 acres in the foothills of the Ozarks. We start with a day of basics to get you familiar with your bike, then explore the terrain around camp. This summer we have a new course with trails and obstacles specifically built for the class. *There is no charge if you bring your own bike (must have multiple gears). Closed-toe shoes are required to participate.
What could be better than riding a horse every day while at camp? Nothing! We divide classes by skill level, so riders are able to learn skills based on their current ability. Optional horseback trail rides are available for $10 during freetime and you don’t have to be in Horsemanship to enjoy these! Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required to participate.
Take your climbing to new heights with the newest activity class on Patmos! Sharpen your climbing skills and learn new rock climbing techniques right in the heart of NLR Flint Valley. Closed-toe shoes are required to participate.
Vaulting is a very specialized discipline of horsemanship. Think of it as gymnastics and dance on the back of a horse! We start with the basics and then let each participant advance at their own pace, working individually or as a team to perform tricks while sitting or standing on the back of a horse. Closed-toe shoes are required to participate.
Moving from our previously offered Airsoft class to Laser Tag will not only stretch the possibilities of game play but will also offer a safer and more unique experience. Instead of playing a game in the same, small designated area each day, imagine changing playing fields daily. (indoor, outdoor, large, small) Imagine not having to deal with pain each time you get hit. Imagine new strategic games like Infection, Elimination and King of the Hill.
